UK shipping rates are automatically calculated in the checkout section of the shop and are based on order value. However we mostly use the Post Office which charges according to weight. International Models reserves the right to adjust post and packing charges to most closely reflect the actual charge which may be higher or lower. Post and packing charges reflect all additional costs of boxes, internal packing for safe arrival of products.
Current scale of UK. P&P charges which can change without prior notice are
Up to £20 is £3.00
£20 to £30 is £4.00
£30 to £40 is £5.00
£40 to £50 is £6.00
Over £50 is £8.00
Overseas post and packing will be adjusted to reflect the actual post office charges and International Models reserves the right to do this and charge accordingly. Non VAT area's will have VAT removed and product costs altered to reflect no VAT changes.
On orders where the value is such that signed for or recorded delivery should be used International Models reserves the right to charge extra for this cost. Customers preferring extra P&P costs such as Ist class, guaranteed next day, signed for or any other additional costs will have these additional costs added to the card charges without further consultation.
We normally ship within 3 days of customer orders, however stock availability, bank holidays, vacations and shipping facilities may prevent this. Normally International Models will contact the customer by Email should a delay become apparent. In exceptional cases shipping may exceed 28 days. The postal service should deliver all orders within 7 days of despatch.
All internet orders are confirmed immediately upon placing the order. It is entirely the customers responsibility to read the confirmation and ensure every aspect of the order is correct and advise any corrections to International Models. International Models will address all parcels according to the shipping information provided and cannot accept any responsibility for any errors made by the customer. Any delay by the customer in correcting any wrong information will be entirely the customers responsibility should the package already be in the despatch system. The customer may wish to consider extra charges for signed for parcels which for the UK will normally be about 75p and overseas about £4.50 depending on weight. The tracking details will be available to the customer upon payment of this service.
Credit and debit cards require the customer to actually use all the card details correctly including correct start date and expiry dates, security numbers, and issue numbers where available. Failure to provide this information in full and correctly will cause delays to shipping.

International Models reserves the right to alter any prices and charges without prior notice. Any orders already placed where the prices have changed due to currency movements or other costs outside the control of International Models the prices charged will reflect any change. International Models will minimise any cost changes to existing orders.
Credit and debit cards will only be charged at the time of despatch where the card is registered in the UK. Overseas cards of any type will be charged immediately upon receipt of order and the goods will be despatched 14 days later subject to availability.

Orders are delivered by Royal Mail UK or by Airmail if International.

This calculation acts as a guide to shipping costs, it may be reduced to match already published prices or indeed increased to match those prices. If the parcel requires a signature on receipt which adds to the cost or if the total shipping cost is reasonably more than the automatic calculation we will Email to offer you the right to cancel. All postal charges are kept to a minimum.
